If you love t-shirts and love creating art, then you should be an avid participant in the many t-shirt competitions available on the world wide web. In addition to the cool contests found here on T-Shirt Magazine, there are a buncha cool contests out there. If you haven’t entered any of these yet you should. They’re worth a shot, and who knows- you might win.
THREADLESS “LOVES” CHALLENGES
Threadless “Loves” challenges give you an opportunity to flex your design skills and design to a particular challenge. Challenges are sponsored and supported by companies relevant to the idea. The winner of a “Loves” challenge receives $2,500 in cash and gift certificates. Threadless “Loves” challenges seem like a lot of fun by the names of the challenges. DESIGN BY HUMANS COMPETITIONS
Design by Hümans (DBH) is a place for people to submit, discover and buy amazing custom t-shirt designs created by artists from around the world. Based around the ongoing t-shirt design contest, all of the designs on DBH have been submitted by the community DBH community. The designs submitted are voted upon and the winning designs get printed on t-shirts and sold through the DBH site. Take a look at some of these winning designs:

On Cameesa, you basically submit your design and community members can support your design by paying $20 (which gets them a limited edition t-shirt). If you get 50 people to support your t-shirt design you win the competition and your t-shirt goes into production. It’s a system based on investment.
